Pricing formulas: tiered prices, minimum fees, conditions, rounding

In short: In ÁrazóSzoftver any pricing rule can be written by combining the measures (A, B, C, D…) with built-in functions: max(100; A × 2.8) sets a minimum fee, tier(A; 60; 2.8; 150; 2.4; 2.1) gives a tiered per-m² price, ceilto(A; 100) rounds up to hundreds and if(A > 100; …; …) handles conditions.

max(a; b)the larger (minimum fee)max(100; A * 2.8)
min(a; b)the smaller (price cap)min(A * 7; 600)
if(cond; yes; no)conditional valueif(A > 100; A * 2.1; A * 2.4)
tier(x; l1; v1; l2; v2; else)tiered price: first limit x fits undertier(A; 60; 2.8; 150; 2.4; 2.1)
ceilto(x; step)round up to a stepceilto(A; 100)
roundto(x; step)round to a steproundto(A * 1.2; 5)
round(x; decimals)roundround(A * 0.35; 1)
choose(i; a; b; c)pick by number (e.g. variant: vi)choose(vi; 0; 40; 80)
pct(x; %)percentagepct(base; 8)
clamp(x; min; max)keep between limitsclamp(A; 10; 500)

Variables

  • A, B, C: the three main values (e.g. length, width, height); D, E, F…: extra fields
  • a, b, c: the same in calculation units (e.g. m instead of cm)
  • area = a × b, perimeter = 2 × (a + b)
  • qty: quantity, base: sum of base lines so far, vi: variant number

FAQ

Decimal comma or point?

Both work (2,5 or 2.5). Separate arguments with a semicolon (;) or a comma.

What if I make a typo?

The editor flags the error immediately, and the coloured preview shows which part is a variable, a function or a number.
